Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Nominations Now Open
The Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding Leeds Grenville business owner who demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovation, perseverance, and business success. This annual award celebrates an entrepreneur who not only operates a successful and growing business, but also contributes meaningfully to their community and the local economy.
The award is presented annually at the Small Business Success Forum to honour the hard work, resilience, and community-minded spirit of local entrepreneurs.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees must:
- Be a Leeds Grenville resident
- Own and actively operate a business in Leeds Grenville
- Have been in business for at least two years
- Employ fewer than 10 employees
- Be a Starter Company Plus graduate
Selection Criteria
Nominations are evaluated based on:
- Business success and growth
- Employment contribution to the community
- Community impact
- Professional development
- Character and leadership
Submit a Nomination
Do you know a business owner who is making a difference in Leeds Grenville through their leadership, innovation, and commitment to their community?
We encourage individuals, organizations, business leaders, elected officials, and municipal staff to submit a nomination.
Nomination Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Award Presentation
The 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year will be announced prior to the Small Business Success Forum and formally recognized during the event on October 22, 2026.
